Interesting. Both goalscorers plus Hirst who people thought played well have all been dropped.

RE: todays Team is..... - hilsea12 - 26-02-2022

I still don't know how Hirst missed the Header in the second halve, but I think he is to improving.

Interesting line up....Harness at wing back.

RE: todays Team is..... - Hammie - 26-02-2022

romeo and curtis were looking really good together. So the immediate response is to separate them on the pitch then drop one of them. What was that old saying about not changing a winning team?

RE: todays Team is..... - Jizbag - 26-02-2022

Brilliant start...

RE: todays Team is..... - Hammie - 26-02-2022

is NC turning into one of those managers who constantly fiddles with the team?

RE: todays Team is..... - dsmg - 26-02-2022

Oh dear. Tunnicliffe ball watching

RE: todays Team is..... - mikey393 - 26-02-2022

2-0 down now. Team selection totally inexplicable. How does Walker start ahead of Hirst or O'Brien?

Got to justify the £10k/week spent on him by starting him I guess.

RE: todays Team is..... - Hammie - 26-02-2022

As I said, he seems to be constantly fiddling with the team. If a player does well he seems the most likely to be dropped. I suspect he looks at the ipad and some stat shows O'Brien (for instance) is tired, so he drops them. Switching between back 5 and back 4, even when Tuesday we were dire with a back 4.

RE: todays Team is..... - Kingo - 26-02-2022

Cos we're paying a lot of money for him.

RE: todays Team is..... - Dibdenblue - 26-02-2022

Eisners don’t want promotion probably told DC not to win to many matches. Same as when Jacket dropped half our team after Xmas when we were top.

RE: todays Team is..... - dsmg - 26-02-2022

Hackett, totally pathetic challenge. 0-3

??

RE: todays Team is..... - Cleaver Greene - 26-02-2022

Disappointing?

RE: todays Team is..... - Pedalo_menders - 26-02-2022

Well, it would have been exciting had it not been for the fact that we were fighting for 1 point instead of 3.

Glad the team has a bit of fight but that first half was just pathetic.

RE: todays Team is..... - TBP - 26-02-2022

Difficult to know where to start, or finish. Ultimately, Cowley's appalling team selection was the biggest problem. He's got to go.

I hope to God he's not on £10k a week, surely not????

RE: todays Team is..... - TBP - 26-02-2022

Seemed plausible to me.

why so many young players don't make it. They are rich before they are any good and have no great incentive to improve.
