The guy was shattered at the end after all that running and chasing down. I feel he and Hirst make a good,strong and mobile partnership up front.

My brother, old man and I were saying how much more balanced the team looked last night. That is our best XI currently. Replace Harness with Jacobs when fit and that is a very good team at this level.

Best performance I can remember this season. However defence is still very poor. Lots to work on.

Which is funny because all season the position has been that our defence is pretty solid but we can't create or score goals. It's the same defenders.
The defence was indeed very poor in the first half against Fleetwood, but I think that poor level of performance was very much a one-off. I didn't think they were too bad last night, the first goal was due to poor defending from Carter, then Raggett, then Bazanu but they were solid enough after that, in fact they were very very good defensively in the last 15 minutes to secure the three points.

Yes both their goals were poor defensively.
We got caught cold for the first one but the second was easily defendable, the Oxford players didn’t do anything special but still scored.
I’m not complaining too much though, we scored three great goals and beat Oxford, what’s not to like?
If we can cut out the defensive errors we are now a force to be reckoned with.

They went past Carter like he wasn't there for the first one, but my God didn't he make up for that later in the game! Goal of the season sewn up for sure.
