I don't see a problem with an applepad. But they do need to pull an extra 10-15 points out their arse next year. I'm not sure they'll be able to do that with the amount of squad building still left to do.

although there have been several comments about how many points are usually needed and how this year is unusually high.
But we do have a very bad record against our rivals for promotion especially away from home which needs sorting at least to get some nil nils and other draws.

Indeed we do.  Just 6 points against the 11 other teams in the top half.  A bid oddly, perhaps, but both Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday have negative goal differences away from home (Sunderland's is down to being hammered at FP).  But they both managed a couple more away wins than we did, and both had a couple more wins at home.  Our defensive record away was pretty good, our scoring record dreadful.
