I fucking love and hate pompey in equal measure.
This team brings me both ecstacy and deep depression. But no matter what, I'll always be from pompey, and a pompey man in my heart. I bleed blue. This city means so much to me. It defines who I am.
I know many of you feel the same. You're my comrades, my brothers in arms. We all have different opinions, and different views on what we should be, but we're all one and the same, not matter what, and we all look out for each other because of that badge we wear.
It would be so easy to be from Manchester or London, wouldn't it. But we are so much more. We have each other.

Supporting Pompey is distinct , an intangible mystic that is envied by fans nationwide.
Portsmouth fans are proud of the blue and white - the Star and Crescent.
To see the incredulity of opposition fans witnessing the travelling support - not glory hunters chasing their once in a season trip to Old Trafford, or Anfield
- but a sustained and regular following, demonstrating perpetual loyalty to (their) very special club.

Well I used to be all 3 but can only claim 1 and 3 now.
I don’t think it really matters how you came to the faith, just the fact that you did is good enough.

I always claim to be born 2 miles from Fratton Park. Like most on here I suggest that is true of those born at St. Mary's hospital.
So number 1 for me then.
Did did indeed live on PI, but not anymore. So not number 2 now for me.
Number 3? Born and raised in Pompey? Of course I am number 3 despite my old man being born and brought up in London and a lifetime Fulham fan.
I am, and always will be Pompey. I think of myself like a stick of rock, cut me in half and it says "Pompey" though the middle.
