And with reference to Burgess, it was a total cockup to allow his contract to run down. I was banging on about that at the time. The sad thing though is that he is better off without us! Undoubtedly made the right decision. You're right there about premium levels as it's all about risk levels in insurance. But, I think you'll find that Jack hasn't missed a game through injury since joining Wigan. That may well say something about Pompey's training methods & Roko playing surface. Quite a few other players including Jacobs have picked up injuries in training. You're right, it was not 3 years v 2 years, it was 2 year v 1 year with an option for more based on appearances. |
