He and Clarke can move the ball out of defense rather than a big aimless hoof, so yes they do get out of position sometimes.

Whatmough was player of the season in a team that won the league. And named in the L1 team of the season. Raggett was player of the season in a team that finished 10th and was not in the L1 team of the year.

Clarke could certainly run the ball out of defence but this ain't one of Jack's attributes as his sending off at MK Dons showed.

O'Brien apparently was on 6500 a week at Sunderland, has been offered 3000 and wants 5000

RE: Jacobs & O'brien - Pedalo_menders - 13-06-2022

5k a week seems about the going rate for a L1 striker doesn't it?

RE: Jacobs & O'brien - Pompeyg100 - 13-06-2022

It’s definitely a nice figure to put in the papers.

RE: Jacobs & O'brien - Hammie - 13-06-2022

£150,000 a year plus bonuses seems ok.

RE: Jacobs & O'brien - bluetagagain - 14-06-2022

Is that what you think we should offer or is that what you think 5K a week is ?

Hammies calculation is 3k per week

RE: Jacobs & O'brien - bluetagagain - 14-06-2022

I gathered that

One struggles to perform for an entire match and one who can’t keep u his relentless pace for 90 mins.

Good squad players.

So being the Expert you are on all things Pompey why do you think that is?

Oh, maybe it's because neither was Match Fit?

DC wouldn't play Jacobs as he was playing in the same position as Harness so sat on the bench.

O'brien wasn't getting any game time at Sunderland so again lacked match fitness.

Well, you wouldn't know anything about it. Too busy watching Swindon while Pompey were playing.

Does Harness generally play on the left then? Serious question, I'm intrigued by your answer.

When Jacobs has been replaced, what position was generally filled?

RE: Jacobs & O'brien - slayer - 16-06-2022

Can we move this along to the punch up?

I don't go to Swindon matches. Never likely to meet.

Calm down. Calm down.
The Eisners won't pay the money so what is there to worry about?

RE: Jacobs & O'brien - BilltheCat - 17-06-2022

Jacobs is the goalie, right?
