If a 3 year old knows the difference between ladies and gents, so should Westwood. So if he wants to act the coont, he needs to have a time out until he learns to meet the minimum social standards required to be in public unattended.

He needs to grow the fook up.

Not going to Pompey is probably best for his issues.

People don't seem to care about that on this thread.

Lets just throw him in the sea and be done with it!

The club need to grow a pair and deal with him firmly but fairly.

Would appear the club are afraid of the reaction if they banned and he himself thinks he's untouchable.

The reaction would be delight, why would they be afraid of that?

You’d have to a be a proper mong to think his behavior is acceptable.

The reaction for you would be delight - and many others. Not all though.

Some would say getting rid of our most well known fan who has watched the club up and down the country for years would be harsh and draconian.

Can you really just ban a fan for life?

His problem is he is clearly not listening.

I'd give him a temporary ban and give him a chance to clean up his act.

Having issues doesn't give you carte blanche to be a coont to people every weekend. He needs his friends and family to step in. It's not a one off now, or even an 'every so often', it's a consistent out of control pattern.

RE: Westwood again. - Ain’t got a Danny - 13-03-2023

Functioning alcoholic. He has a choice recognise the problem or be dead within a few years.

Had a few friends and relatives in the same situation.

RE: Westwood again. - Cressers - 13-03-2023

He could consider himself lucky to get away with being ejected this time; do that again and the police might take a dim view of it.

RE: Westwood again. - Pompey_in_Derby - 13-03-2023

Did Westwood actually go into the ladies toilet though? I was on my way to the gents at half-time and Westie was hanging around just inside the entrance to the ladies, but in full view of the concourse with the stewards telling him firmly not to go in. A minute or so later when I'd finished in the male bogs, Westward was back in the main concourse without any stewards in attendance. So, unless he actually went into the ladies after half time, then it seems a bit of an over-the-top reaction to a non-event!

He’s had 3 bans this season!!! He doesn’t even watch the games he goes to.

His problem is his behavior.

Yes he did.

It’s another in a long list, all with one common denominator. Alcohol. He’s a normal funny guy when sober, or at least he used to be. As others have said, he needs help.

RE: Westwood again. - Hammie - 13-03-2023

on the other hand
perhaps he is backing the likes of JK Rowling and supporting the many many women who are totally against men with bits being allowed into any women's toilet or changing area.
Unlikely but he can actually be intelligent when not bladdered.

In what way would he be backing them? I’m confused.

RE: Westwood again. - Northstander - 14-03-2023

Westy is quoted on Fans Banter saying he has received a 2 match ban, Accrington and Bristol Rovers. Hampshire Police confirmed a man was escorted from the stadium by a police officer after he had entered the female toilets at 4 p.m.

RE: Westwood again. - bluetagagain - 14-03-2023

It’s on the front page of the News

RE: Westwood again. - Northstander - 14-03-2023

Plus he says a further decision will be made by the club afterwards

"Given it was women’s day, I thought I would identify as a woman to show solidarity with them."

That'll help your case, John.

Ms. Williams sounds like a whole bag of fun doesn't she?

RE: Westwood again. - exterminator - 14-03-2023

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the club doesn't tell him to start his summer holidays now & give him a few months to contemplate on his erratic behaviour.

Unfortunately for JPFCW he is going to be exchanging his "lifetime season ticket"for a "lifetime ban" unless he changes tact pretty quickly.

He has become an embarrassment to the club & a lot of supporters.......

RE: Westwood again. - slayer - 14-03-2023

What is forming now, is a pattern of bans for what one could reasonably taxonomise as sexually aggrevated behaviour.

Johnny needs his friends to intervene pronto.

If this carries on and the law gets involved, this could lead being added to the register, and a stretch.

Not going to Pompey is probably best for his issues.

TBH I'd fear the worst if he got a life ban, he hasn't done himself any favours the past few years, he's had a lot of personal problems to deal with, i hope he sorts himself out.

No excuses, so we can all do the same as him if we have personal problems?

RE: Westwood again. - briefcase_wanchor - 14-03-2023

His problems a sad one - not sure he’s big on following advice though so I can’t see it relenting until he’s given a reasonable length ban and warned about future behaviour (again - but seriously this time).

What him and the club don’t want is bad publicity - now it’s front page of the News. We know Cullen’s personality (or lack of), can’t see him and other collected suits sitting round the table saying “it’s good old John…salt of the earth….everyone loves him ……super fan….we’ll miss the bell and bugle…..”. I’d be amazed if he doesn’t get a final ultimatum.

Only his “super fan” status has bought him time this far. See if the club have the balls.
