Slow start - Pedalo_menders - 18-08-2022
We seem to start games slowly, then get better as the game progresses
What do we put that down to?
Nerves? Tactics?
Hoping for a strong start against the scouse convicts team of thugs.

True, Cambridge could easily have scored 2 or 3 before we got going.

We did ok first half but their defence was well set up and they broke well.
The team looks to me to be one that susses the opposition out then goes for the throat. and bear in mind we are still bedding in up to a dozen new players.

never stopped Alan Ball's team, did mean Knightsy had to save two balls at a time though

Tactics, same as last season.

I think DC sets his stall out and uses the first half to get the second right ( mostly).
