The bench looks really weak - 3 loanees not wanted or good enough for their parent clubs, a Cowley reject and a wobbly veteran defender - no game changers in that lot.

The Cowleys said in the summer that loans should be the icing on the cake - apart from Scarlett none are icing.

Our style recently has changed dramatically. We haven't pressed the opposition for the past few games. Why not? Fatigue? Sussed out? It was what the early form was based on.

I’ve never liked or wanted DC but I was very happy to be proved wrong this season, fucking delighted in fact, great signings, great results but it’s slipping again in to why I don’t rate him.
We look lost, lack energy, leadership and creativity. This is a good squad but they are not performing.

No chance for Bishop and Pigott to gel again. Too many players absent. Swanson can't attack (incidentally, the worst I've seen at this level). As ever, Cowley is the problem, not the solution.

The news gives 7 & 8 for almost everyone... even Swanson. Complete nonsense. Raggett back injury to add to the woes. Griffiths distribution... oh dear! Mingi looked out of his depth but Reeco put in a good shift when moved central 2nd half after being hopeless on the wing 1st. Worrying times. Top 2 almost over the horizon.
