Nice guys - Hammie - 02-01-2023

According to the News regarding the dressing room:
I don’t believe he’s lost the dressing room at all. He’s got a nice bunch of players there, players who he has largely recruited and they’re a good group of lads.

Do teams made of nice guys win things?

Our successful teams usually had a few hard nuts in there. Alan Ball's team were pretty much all up for the scrap.
Cook's team had a captain at least who would run through brick walls to win and thump a team mate if required.
Bill Rafferty was no angel in Bobby Campbell's team.
And so forth.

So should our January signings include some right hard nuts? Who might also challenge the manager when he is getting it wrong.

Alan Ball’s squad didn’t include so many nice guys and they were fantastic.
