Grant McCann - Gerry Hatrick - 16-01-2023
Not my best choice, not my worst.
If Wilder is out of the running, I'd rather have McCann than Manning.
- More experience as a player - which I think players respect.
- Young enough to relate to the players, old enough to liaise with a DoF. (Had to handle Barry Fry at 'boro)
- More experience of success with Hull and Doncaster.
- Has experience of promotion, relegation, takeovers, COVID...
Will probably bring coach Cliff Byrne with him.
From the fluffy, cosy, touchy-feely Cowley school of coaching think of that drill sergeant from Full Metal Jacket.
So, not ideal in my book but it could work...

Personally I think manning would of been decent 2 weeks ago but has got to the point were a task master is needed and some home truths told
