Exeter - stayinupforever - 18-01-2023

We need to win.

RE: Exeter - Gerry Hatrick - 18-01-2023

Any sign that the worst is behind us - a clean sheet for example, players doing their jobs for example - would be enough for me.

RE: Exeter - Pompeyg100 - 18-01-2023

I want to see effort, confidence and some leadership on the pitch.

A goal would be nice, a win even better.

RE: Exeter - TBP - 18-01-2023

Decent team selection and decent tactical instructions would be nice, but, as Bassey seems t have learnt everything from Cowley, this is unlikely.

RE: Exeter - Pedalo_menders - 18-01-2023

My (sad) prediction is that we are in for another dicking and it all gets a bit nasty.

I hope I'm wrong.

RE: Exeter - Pompeyg100 - 18-01-2023

New HC coach announced today, lifts the lads and we get 3 points.

RE: Exeter - Gerry Hatrick - 18-01-2023

A win at home seems almost too much to ask for............that's how low we have sunk.

Love your optimism g100, but if we do lose, the 80/1 currently on offer for relegation starts to look very generous.

RE: Exeter - Northstander - 18-01-2023

Yes around New Year we were 100/1 to be relegated. Today I've seen one firm offering only 66.1. The longer this winless run goes on, the lower the odds will be. We need a win, can't see it coming at Fleetwood or Peterborough.

RE: Exeter - simonfkwit - 18-01-2023

Pre Charlton we were 250/1.
I took 80/1 after Bolton.

Waste of money. We are not going down. Our form is relegation form but this is a decent squad that has been ruined by the Cowleys. I am confident that we will shortly have someone who will properly coach, organise and motivate the players to get them playing to their full potential. Our odds are much, much shorter on going up than going down.

This will depend on getting a decent manager in, or not.

80/1 bets never tend to be certs. In tbis instance I'm happy to lose it.

RE: Exeter - Northstander - 20-01-2023

There are 2 separate minutes applause for paying respect planned for tomorrow. In the 8th minute for 8 year old Ace Rewcastle who so tragically died after falling ill whilst on holiday in Barbados. Then in the 52nd minute for Pompey Loyal who played, as we all know, such a huge role in the clubs fundraising efforts in 2013 and then for Tifosy. As someone has posted elsewhere Block H of the NSL will be quieter sadly. RIP both of them

RE: Exeter - Sharpe* - 20-01-2023

I reckon we'll win 2-0!

God it would be a nice change.

Proper managers, like

RE: Exeter - Pedalo_menders - 20-01-2023

If we finish top half it will be a fucking miracle.

Exeter will be licking their chops at this game.

The first thing John has said is "give me time". What a cop out. What happened to wanting to make an immediate impact ffs.

He should of said Danny Cowley is a fucking retard, give me time to sort his mess out.

Christ, Pompeyg. You really hate the Cowleys yet defend the Eisners to the hilt.

That’s because he he’s dog shit. The Eisners never should have appointed him after he failed his trial, that is the only errors they’ve made in my opinion.
