What do we Demand, Hope, Expect to see tonight? - Rocketman - 24-01-2023
Here's my list for openers:
Demand:
1. 100% effort from the players for 90+ minutes
2. 100% concentration for 90+ minutes, particularly in defence
3. Leadership on the pitch (Macey for his area, Pack everywhere else)
Hope:
4. Win
5. Goals (from us)
6. Clean sheet (from us)
7. Flowing football
8. As we're away, pretty much unchanged team. Possibly Thompson for Tunnicliffe, possibly Curtis for Jacobs
Expect:
1 & 3, mostly 2
4 (it's the anticipation that kills us!)
5
Maybe 6
Some 7, better than last 6 months, but can't expect too much just yet.
8 (Possibly Thompson for Tunnicliffe, possibly Curtis for Jacobs)

Best will in the world that's probably what most ofus would like but a bit too early.
But definitely 1 & 2 & hopefully 3.
New manager will probably only had one short training session with the team since Saturday.
We have to be patient but the right attitude & players playing in the right posotions like Saturday.
Also, correct subs at right time.

usually ensure a win.

In 53 years of following and loving our club. I have wanted us to win every single game that we’ve played. In fact, not only win every game but smash them out of sight. The reality is that they always find a way of kicking me in the bollocks, particularly when least expected. Tonight I need us to put at least 4 past those northern monkeys and hope we don’t concede.
So it will probably be Northern Monkeys 2, Southern Aristocrats 0!

my biggest plus was seeing Tunnicliffe really getting stuck in, getting into the box and just looking like he was enjoying playing for us. that and pig getting a goal
