Macey. If he keeps playing like this, we may not have the opportunity to sign him. 8
Ogilvie. Certainly not one of his best games but managed to put his head in where it hurts, on at least one occasion 6
Towler. Another slightly below par performance. 6.5
Raggett. Mr dependable. Looking increasingly comfortable with the ball at his feet. Ably demonstrated with that surging run and pass, leading to the first goal. 7.5
Rafferty. Far better today, back to form. 7
Morrell. Actual performance with the ball was a bit hit and miss. Ability to disrupt Rovers players and generally psyche them out of the game (one of them, literally) was very impressive to watch. 7
Thompson. Just can’t seem to make it to 90 mins. 6.5
Tunnicliffe. Not up to his recent standards but great pass for Bishop. 6.5
Reeco. Nah 5.5
Bishop. Not enough superlatives. 8.5
Lane. Puts himself about. 7
Jacobs. Performances like this make it seem incredible that he isn’t playing every week. So frustrating. 8
Dale. Immediate impact. His first cross should have been met with at least one Pompey player but after that it was back to the usual. However…as a crucial member of the defensive effort, he was everywhere. Such hard work. 7.5
Robertson. Not really much to talk about.
