2.9 m - DeepBlue - 30-03-2023

Accounts just published for 2021/2022 show a loss of 2.9m, mostly due to Covid.   Brings the total Covid losses covered by the Eisners to more than 5m.

To still be debt free after that is a great position to be in when clubs all over the country are still suffering from their Covid losses.

No plan no ambition.

RE: 2.9 m - slayer - 30-03-2023

5m loses covered by their own pocket.

Peterborough going into admin to write off 6m.

Fucking Eisners.

RE: 2.9 m - firqdays - 30-03-2023

Exactly - how many clubs would like our ownership model right now?

We are so fortunate. PUP

Do you seriously think there is someone else out there prepared to put 29m into a league one club without any of that being a debt to the club ?

RE: 2.9 m - Pedalo_menders - 30-03-2023

Have you read the accounts deep? I haven't either yet but the headline suggests this includes the purchase of roko for £3M and the ground developments.

If that is the case, then they are diverting revenue into infrastructure projects, not funding it from their pockets as you would have us believe.

If the Eisners were genuinely sinking in £12M into the club, you would see the operating losses reflect that, no?

RE: 2.9 m - firqdays - 30-03-2023

What is ROKO then ..... someone remind me, a Theme park, a family attraction ... ???

And you wonder why I call you an idiot sometimes.  You not taken your tablets today?

Not the full acounts yet, no. But I've read the PST summary which is quite detailed and should answer all your doubts.

This mentions the Roko redevelopment as a 'small cost' . The purchase of Roko was in the previous year accounts .

These accounts obviously exclude the further 9m put in this month, whiich puts the total that the Eisners have put in beyond double the 12m you are querying. All shown in the accounts so genuine unless you are adding false accounting to their failings.  All without a penny of debt to the debt. Genuinely.

I don't think there's anyone on this board who isn't on the spectrum, just some more than others.

RE: 2.9 m - Hammie - 30-03-2023

Best owners in my lifetime, hardly their fault that their first five years have been spent putting right all the lack of investment in infrastructure by the ownership of the previous half a century or so. With the very honourable exception of the fans and maybe Tel.

It's a place exterm's been banned from after getting caught masturbating in the disabled toilet, allegedly.

I heard it was the ladies bog.
