Shaka Hislop - Slagger - 24-07-2023 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66287304 Get well soon Shaka. One of my favorite Pompey keepers. I remember quite a few games he kept us in! RE: Shaka Hislop - FiftyYearsOn - 24-07-2023 Top keeper. RE: Shaka Hislop - Hammie - 24-07-2023 The idiocy of wearing a suit and tie in extreme heat! RE: Shaka Hislop - slayer - 24-07-2023 Saucer of milk to the victim blamer on table 1 RE: Shaka Hislop - exgaffer - 24-07-2023 (24-07-2023, 06:12 PM)Hammie Wrote: The idiocy of wearing a suit and tie in extreme heat! I take it you are being ironic. On what planet is 30 degrees ‘extreme heat’ ffs. The temperature had f all to do with it and is only mentioned because of the media obsession with the ‘we’re all doomed’ narrative. Hislop was a great keeper for us, perhaps the most consistently good we’ve ever had, hope he’s OK. RE: Shaka Hislop - slayer - 24-07-2023 Saucer of milk to the flouncer from the politics board posting politics on the Pompey board instead RE: Shaka Hislop - Hammie - 24-07-2023 After fifty odd years of being told to wear a tie and a suit while other staff are wearing open toed shoes, uncovered legs and open neck I will fight against the stupidity of ties and suits at any opportunity. 30 is pretty warm for wearing a tie and buttoned collar. RE: Shaka Hislop - Cunninglinguist - 25-07-2023 I wonder if it was surface or air temperature that got to him? Perhaps our chief flouncer could explain.
