Is this the most significant factor?? - Mostlysunny - 23-09-2023 So this afternoon against Lincoln, we once again went 0-1 down (although pretty unfortunately IMO) As before, we came back and won the game (just!). However.... That means that in 3 of the past 4 games we have come back from being 0-1 down, but even more impressively, got 7 out of 9 points from those 3 games. It's been a few seasons since we showed such resilience and winning mentality.....which I reckon could be a significant factor come next May! RE: Is this the most significant factor?? - D'Alessandro dreaming - 23-09-2023 Yes it is not a bad trait to have albeit one we have had to lean on a bit too often for my liking. I have memories of that first season in League Two when if we went a goal down it was game over pretty much every time it seemed. When everyone is fit, we also have a wealth of options to chase the game if needed with Yengi, Saydee, Robertson and Anjorin all good attacking options to bring off the bench if they don't start. RE: Is this the most significant factor?? - West Australian Portsmouth Fan - 23-09-2023 We looked a much stronger side with Saydee when we put Peterborough to the sword a few matches ago. Robertson is also good especially with the ball at his feet but Saydee is like a tiger with his physical presence RE: Is this the most significant factor?? - Hammie - 24-09-2023 I do think we are far more disciplined this season. ie over the last few seasons if we conceded or get a "dodgy" decision, the team lost shape and went off aka Morrell. Those of us at MK Dons a couple of seasons back saw a really good performance until they scored and then we totally fell apart. We saw that far too regularly. |
