Raul Jimenez and Edison Cavani - stayinupforever - 01-12-2020
Incidents occurred at the weekend regarding these two players.
Jimenez fractured his skull in a collision with David Luiz. Cavani tweeted a potentially inappropriate message.
The FA to my knowledge made no mention of whether they would look further in to the rules around head clashes yet were more than happy to announce an investigation in to Cavani's tweet.
Says it all really.

Two completely unrelated events in separate matches that will be addressed by separate groups within the FA.
How are you managing to draw a correlation between them at all?
What do you want the FA to do? Make it illegal within the rules of the game to try and win a header?
It's a contact sport. It's a professional sport. There will always be accidents here and there. Footballers break bones, boxers actually die!
Speaking specifically about serious head injuries, I make it Cech (IMO, assault), Mason, Jiminez, Pedro Mendes (IMO, assault). Have I missed anyone in the last 20 years (380 X 20 = 7,600 games of) Prem football? Is serious head collisions in 0.0004% of Prem matches too high and we need the FA to do something?

The FA is becoming so risk averse it wouldn't surprise me to see them bring in the 5-a-side not above head height rule
