George Edmundson of Ipswich - BigSmokeBlue - 29-12-2023 We have made enquiries with the Tractor Boys about taking central defender George Edmundson on loan for the remainder of the season. He was a key figure in their promotion last season. RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - DeepBlue - 29-12-2023 We tried to sign him when they did. He would be as good a centre back as you could expect to get in a January window. RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - BigSmokeBlue - 29-12-2023 At 6”3 and 26 years old, having had experience of promotion certainly fits the mould in the type of player we like to sign these days. RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - TitchfieldBlue - 29-12-2023 Would be a good signing because we can't get promotion with Raggett. RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - mikey393 - 29-12-2023 Experienced young & tall. The 3 main attributes needed. Looks like we're now their line supply team. If the owners follow their blueprint we'll definitely get promoted & hold our own in the Championship. But the owners need to be prepared to put their hands in their pockets! You might have to eat your words RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - dsmg - 29-12-2023 Titchfield, trolling again? Raggett has probably with Shocker and Pack been the most consistent in the last 8 games or so RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - firqdays - 29-12-2023 Am I missing something here ?? What has Michael EISNER failed to do? He is far too astute a business man than to gain promotion to a higher league only to fold because we did not have the players of quality to support our longevity. This will not happen , he will support viable players purchases - only he will not shout about it from the rooftops ! RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - Daniel - 29-12-2023 Would be a very good signing. RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - Hammie - 29-12-2023 A loan for six months and then the chance to buy might well by a good deal. If he is good enough for the champ if we go up, and clearly good enough for this level if we are still here. RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - slayer - 29-12-2023 This would be a superb bit of business RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - foxleyblue - 30-12-2023 (29-12-2023, 02:13 PM)firqdays Wrote: Am I missing something here ?? Probably JM is under orders to keep us in this division. RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - dsmg - 30-12-2023 Cant believe you wrote that, Foxley RE: George Edmundson of Ipswich - Hammie - 30-12-2023 I sometimes wonder why anyone would try and improve Pompey at all. |
