Who has been our best loan signing over the years that you’ve actually seen play for Pompey?
For me it’s probably Michael Thomas ( on loan from Arsenal I think).

Michael Thomas was so far ahead of the rest that it was unreal.
Be handy if we could find one of the standard of Defoe when he was at Bournemouth, must be the best one anywhere ever.

Thomas only played three games for us though, so good though he was there must be others who have had more impact.

Returned in 1999 on loan, continued where he left off to help keep us up.
