Peart Harris - Cunninglinguist - 28-01-2024

One of the best debuts I can remember for a while. Let’s hope it’s not just a flash in the pan. Been so disappointed with January signings over the years, not all but some.

This one feels like an actual strengthening, not just here to make up the numbers.

Seemed like an outstanding debut, even if it sounded like Peter Harris on the radio (I wish!!).

Thought he looked strong, quick and had a great touch .Will improve the team without doubt especially as a 10.At the end looked like he enjoyed the experience as well of playing in front of our fans .Oxford will be a more difficult test. But team looked more creative than at Fleetwood and from where I stood best first half we have played in a while. The passing was quicker and with more purpose.

He moved the ball nicely and played on the front foot, looking to get the ball forward or out wide. Looked very comfortable out there.

For anyone who didn't see the game, it was total domination. The scoreline bore barely any reflection on the performance. Very encouraging display.

I hadn't realised how free scoring Vale are at home so a big nod to the defense for not only shutting them out but keeping Norris bored for the full 90.

Give it time. Mousinho wouldn't have had time to instil the sideways, backwards, tippy-tappy game in him.

Yeah, we’ve got nowhere with that, have we?

Pompey, top of the league.
