.....given that we've got 59 points, we're one point ahead of the "rule of thumb" that says that 2 points a game wins you automatic promotion.

I was hoping we'd be nearer 70 points by now as we have a tough end to the season. Will be a struggle to reach 90 points now.
A bad Xmas run hasnt helped at all.
However our next 6 are as follows:
Oxford a
Northampton h
Carlisle a
Cambridge h
Reading h
Charlton a
We messed up the easier games on paper over Xmas, we can't afford to let that happen again.
We really need to take at least 12 points from that bunch of fixtures shown above. Do that and we have a chance of top 2 going into the home straight.

We're bang on target.
90 being the target for the automatics, we're about two thirds of the way through the fixtures with 17 games left to play.
30 points from those should be enough this season.

We play shit against the shit teams. We've already dispatched all the top teams and I fully expect us to do it again.
The run-in is where we traditionally make our charge and this year we're not outside the top 6 before we do it. The rest of the league should pack up and go home. It's ours.
