What's left to do? - Gerry Hatrick - 03-04-2024
Too busy watching Moxon's goal and that Bishop flick for our first goal over and over again to post on here last night.
So now the question is what do we have to do to finish the job.
For me, one win and avoid defeat against Bolton would be enough to get us up.
But this is a classy side and we KNOW we are going to do better than that.

We know we're going up, it's just a case of when. Bolton could well be the game. Will they give us more tickets? It will be very frustrating sitting in a half empty end for such a great occasion. Surely it's discrimatory that they gave Derby and Carlisle 5000. Is there any way of getting more, appeal to the efl maye?

One thing is for sure, right now, any team that beats us will deserve too. Just hope we finish the job on Saturday because that will be tough.

Win Saturday, draw Bolton to be up I think, add victory over Wigan to be certain of title. What a flick from Bishop, soooo cool from Abu, great strike Mox and should it have been a pen?

mathematically yes, but that assumes Bolton winning all five of their games and they haven't looked capable of that sort of run for several months now.

it looked like a pen to me. I think the ref bottled it.
Looked like Tino got pushed & pulled, certain penalty IMO

Firstly avoid turning up expecting to win against Shrews.
If Lang is available I'd start him. We have a few regulars looking tired, specially on the wings (and they are entitled to)
Yengi deserves a start too unless he got a knock last night. Swanson too actually.
I cannot recall having a squad like this where we have so many options that do not weaken the team, even with half a team out for the season.

Reckon we might only need 5....provided that one of those points is a draw up at Bolton as that would bugger up any ideas they might have of catching us.
