Sounds like the retained list will be out by Tuesday.
Gong to be a long close season for us but at least we will have something real to discuss for a few days.

Harry's lot did that but it is still my least successful away game over many years. Unless you count getting more red and yellow cards than the other side, even better if Alan Knight had showed full commitment to the team.

Yes, I was also there Hammie, talk about the Ref losing control , I remember the ALAMO i.e. defending the penalty area until the goal.
I actually wrote a letter to the F.A. after the game concerning the events and amazingly did receive a written response - heady days !

I was referring to the documentary about the Rock Against Racism concert in 1978. I shall have to dig that novel out!

I know the script, it was my era and my cup of tea. Billy Bragg ( the wetwipe) in his book the Progressive Patriot, actually covers it just about how it was in one of the chapters. An era when hope for change was high and we appeared to be heading in the correct direction. Youthful idealism! I wish we could pump it into the drinking water.
