Barnsley - Pedalo_menders - 30-03-2021

Having a fantastic season. Didnt realise how well they were doing until looking at the championship table just now. 

Both them and Brentford showing you dont need to splurge £50M to do well.

Also shows two teams can be successful playing different styles. One plays attractive attacking football, the other goes route one

Brentford have spent a lot ... maybe not £50m but certainly £25m, but they can afford it because they have sold players worth probably double that.  

A perfect example of an 'eat what you kill' policy. 

Not sure where they found £70m for a new ground though, albeit it was a jouing ventrue with London Irish.

We must not applaud Brentford without acknowledging the groundbreaking work they are doing with xG data and related statistical analysis
