Barnsley - Pedalo_menders - 30-03-2021 Having a fantastic season. Didnt realise how well they were doing until looking at the championship table just now. Both them and Brentford showing you dont need to splurge £50M to do well. RE: Barnsley - Trebilcock70 - 30-03-2021 (30-03-2021, 04:11 PM)Pedalo_menders Wrote: Having a fantastic season. One plays attractive attacking football, the other goes route one RE: Barnsley - DeepBlue - 30-03-2021 (30-03-2021, 04:11 PM)Pedalo_menders Wrote: Having a fantastic season. Brentford have spent a lot ... maybe not £50m but certainly £25m, but they can afford it because they have sold players worth probably double that. A perfect example of an 'eat what you kill' policy. Not sure where they found £70m for a new ground though, albeit it was a jouing ventrue with London Irish.
