Hugely impressed by this 20 minute Q&A, The Cowley brothers are clearly made of the right stuff, thoroughly grounded and imbued with community spirit.
My only misgivings about The Cowleys is that they may not be here next season, I don’t believe that it’s just we Pompey fans who have seen what a positive difference they have made to Pompey, owners of other clubs will have taken note as well. There will likely be the usual Summer managerial Merry- go- round and the Cowleys may have done more enough with Pompey to put themselves in the frame as a Management Team with much to offer.
When asked about the Pompey crowd Nicky simply said that “hopefully we will be here for long enough to see them and meet them”......hardly comforting !
It would be more than gutting to see us get to the playoffs only to see The Cowley Brothers whisked away at the end of their ‘trial’ period to another team by a better offer than Pompey’s

I think it's difficult to overestimate just how how stale and apathetic things had become under Jackett. Probably any young progressive manager with fresh ideas and a positive attitude would have found it easy to make a big difference straight away. For that reason I wouldn't go too far with the Cowleys abilities - they gave just been sensible and professional in introducing a more positive style of play and from what I saw on a mic'd up training session some more enthusiasm for the game in the players. I think they are just being cautious about the future with those comments and want to stay. I hope that PFC gives them a decent contract after seeing what things could be like with the right management team.

This is the biggest club they have been at so far and they are savvy enough to know it's important to have the fans on board.
They've done a good job of that by letting us get to know what they are about, both on and off the pitch.
I'm just going to enjoy the ride til the end of the season and see what happens. If it ends well, youd expect us to provide a decent offer (if not already stated in the contract).

I expect them to sign a 3 yrs contract as head coach and Pompey will appoint a DoF to work with them.
