His distribution is far too ponderous and not decisive. He was fine with the Jacketball, hoof it downfield but goalkeeping has moved on in the last few seasons.
Keepers need to be able to play is out quickly accurately and decisively with either foot. That part of the game has by passed him & at 28 he is probably too old to learn.
He certainly isn't worth the same money or more in the current climate of up to 40% less wages.
