The Cowley nipper speaks (he does say it a lot!):

Danny Cowley on signing a new deal, Mark Catlin's departure and contract negotiations - YouTube

An excellent interview. One very important point he makes is what some have been saying on here and others completely ignore, which is that the Eisner's have bankrolled the club since the start of Covid, and we are debt-free. That is why if we had still been fan-owned (and I was one of those who bought a £1K share), we would now have been dead in the water.

So we should be grateful that our owner has kept the club afloat protecting his asset then.

Would you prefer that he hadn’t?

Yes, we should be grateful - it is a long term asset for Tornante- a bit like anybody having shares in a company that is improving its stock and return.

I just don't get that we should be grateful that Tornante have kept the club financially afloat. If you buy a car you don't let it fall to pieces do you. Who's to say we couldn't have found an owner who actually had some semblance of ambition for the club, or even found investment as a fan owned club.
