Pompey are apparently battling it out with Aberdeen for the signature of Clark Robertson. The 27 year old left sided central defender is a free agent after his 3 year Rotherham contract has come to an end.
Can’t see us offering better wages than Aberdeen?

Not a hope that we could match their wages, but in any case he was born in Aberdeen so the chances are he will want to return home.

Never heard of him.
However, I recall Salford City offering better wages than Aberdeen when Salford were non-league so wouldn't be surprised if we're not at a similar level to Aberdeen on the wages front.
