Well Done Pompey - PETER - 19-12-2020

All these so called experts complaining we  were a bit lucky because we won with 2 own goals and did not create many chances.Lets get it right if the defenders had not pressurised their defence no goal would have been score. For the second goal if our forwards had not put pressure on their defenders no goal would have been scored.Well done Pompey. We are top of the league. We are top of the league. Shy

Deserved victory. We played very well for long periods and hardly gave them a sniff in the first half. Yes, they pressed near the end but apart from hitting the bar didn’t really create many chances. We’re beginning to look like the real deal with everyone putting in a shift. Rasmussen had a good game and Raggett defies all logic but is actually playing very well. Cannon was exceptional as well, both in attack and defence. Pring has understudied well for Brown and I’m beginning to warm to Johnson. Harness is difficult for opposing defenders and often has two or three on him. Yesterday he nutmegged two in an exceptional piece of skill not often seen at this level. He crosses very well but perhaps takes too many touches on occasions and gets hustled off the ball. Williams is a real harrier, skilful too. All in all a great day’s work away to the league leaders and favourites.
