I think that's pretty clear due to the word 'August' mentioned as promised.

Will we ever see Jacobs in action - seems like one of those several recruits of ours who is always on the injury list of whom we have had a fair few in recent years. Before we sign these guys do we ever have a close look at their injuiry record.

To be fair to Jacobs he had an extremely good appearance record until he joined us - just gone pear shaped in the last season.

He was coming back from a bad injury when he joined us. I reckon numbnuts Jackett wanted him regardless of a 100% fit/medical or not.
An injury prone player ( or so it appears) we should be looking to offload.
