More of a team player now though. The difference is attitude. As long as the goals come from somewhere....

Nothing changed in my opinion of him.

Not sure I ever bought the playing out of position argument. He was playing in the same position with the same formation at Doncaster when he scored 20+ in a season.  I think last season it was more a case of not playing to his strengths, not giving him the sort of service he likes, not having a creative midfield player behind him like Coppinger.  I also got the impression he was not that well liked by the rest of the team, perhaps because of his slightly arrogant 'it's never my fault' attitude, but this season his attitude has noticably changed and he is working his bollox off for the benefit of the team and the team is noticably more together as a unit as a result.

It's also likely he is more settled in the area now ... the new surroundings and things not going very well at first must have taken its strain on him.
