Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett has confirmed that Danish centre-back Rasmus Nicolaisen will remain at Fratton Park until the end of the season.

Has to be good news. Keeps the squad together and he is probably better as back up than any other cast-offs avaialble in January.

I would be even happier with news of Downing, Bolton, Morris departures with the considerable overall salary savings were announced. I don’t thing any of them have much to offer us going forward, not the smartest signings as it turns out
