Hampshire Cup - mikey393 - 15-09-2021

We drew 0-0 with Basingstoke last night. Won 5-4 on penalties.

We still can 't goals from any open play with Jacobs & Ahadme in a strong side.

That's really dreadful Non-finishing.

I would picked Marquis to play to try to get some confidence back.

Surely someone can score a goal soon?

Cambridge at home on Saturday, they shipped 5 at home to Lincoln last time out, surely a game to score a couple or more.

We haven't failed to score in a home game yet.

I suspect lack of creating chances away from home may continue without a change of strategy, but no reason to think we might not score in a home game.

just wondering. The OP refers to missed chances. Did we miss chances last night? From what I've watched so far its not that we miss loads, more that we don't create enough.

Jacobs was playing against Non-League opposition surely he created chances?
