Awful performance. Just kick it up the field and anywhere will do.
What a load of crap

Sounded poor. Need one big game Tuesday.

Outplayed but still drew. Two home games to win everything! What's not to like.

Their fans are apoplectic with rage at us on trotters but is it not their fault for missing a couple of sitters?
We take a point, fuck them up, hopefully! Another year in this league would be fun gor them. Oxford to play bolton in play offs and get revenge for a 5-0 defeat. Yes please! Another point for us. One big effort and the lot is ours! Cmon Pompey! 'BOUNCE AROUND IF YOURE TOP OF THE LEAGUE'!

Good team amd we held them to a draw which not many have done there. It's enough and sets up the chance to finish it off at Fratton Park.

We'd have taken a draw if offered one a few hours ago.

We knew it would be manic and everything thrown at us . Got the point , job done . Roll on Tuesday

Bit unfair Cunni, put up a helluva scrap, scored a great goal, could have scored a couple more, especially from one of Anjorin's surging runs. Yes, they should have scored a couple more too, but we've held Bolton at the Toughshyte, not many have done that. Give 'em some credit ffs. Entitled? Moi?

a point
get promoted at home what's to dislike? Still only lost 4 all season

A great point against a good side, I’m happy with that.
One more point and we’re up, two more and we’re Champs. We defended very well and could have won it at the end, what’s not to like? PUP

Remain unbeaten by Bolton this season…so we/they can’t moan too much

Excellent result & fair to both teams. 1 more point will do it now but we want all 3 on Tuesday night. PUP.

There's one bloke upset about how many penalties we've had this season, saying referees have treated us favourably. What, all the referees? All season?

I know it's funny as feck!

It's an exceptional point really given the absolute pastings Bolton have been dishing out at their place to some decent sides lately. It was not a great performance and the Mous is acknowledging that we probably should have lost today. It's a tired looking Pompey side that just needs to stumble over the line now. From the moment we took the lead we were distinctly second best but still looked dangerous on the break. This game more than any other is one where I really felt we missed Joe Morrell in that midfield. It was a bit harsh on Moxon being subbed off at half time (unless there was an injury) but we needed Joe making life tough for them out there.
Kamara delivered with another goal but faded and looked leggy again along with Lane, I thought Shaughnessy had a very good game and Anjorin looked classy when he came on. Lang got some decent minutes in after his injury break which is handy. The Bishop/Yengi debate will go a bit quiet as both were mostly anonymous. One last heave boys.

Get the points Tuesday then let some of the reserves start as some of the first team (wingers especially) look shot now. Anjorin, Wyatt, Saydee can all come in as well as others

What were the iFollow commentators on today lmfao they were like a Fast Show sketch

Apparantly that's the first time all season in the league at least that we didn't win any corners. Wow. That shows just how we were second be in the wide areas. In hindsight we probably should have looked to get a left winger in on loan or on a permanent in January just to take some of the load off of Lane and Kamara. Although I suppose he anticipated Scully being back by now.

Santos made a big difference today - seemed to stop everything down the middle by fair means or foul. Let's do it Tuesday and bounce around....
13-04-2024, 06:38 PM
Our slick passing game deserted us for the most part today - just didn’t seem to have the link ups on the flanks, even though early on Kamara had their left back on toast. Norris was almost always route 1 against the most solid CB in the division. Ref seemed to let Santos get away with everything (bar one blatant last man challenge for which he wasn’t even carded) so it’s maybe surprising we persisted with that.

At this stage, result vs performance? No-brainer, isn't it?
Bolton played well, but ain't too happy. Who would like to swap places with them and make them feel better?
13-04-2024, 08:12 PM
As we all feared today, one of those referees who was equally shit for both sides
13-04-2024, 09:55 PM
It's interesting that Bolton probably played one of the best games this season, at home in front of a big crowd and coupled only muster a 1-1 draw. At Fratton aside from them missing a sitter we dominated them, which explains the difference in league position.
