No wonder our crossing has been shyte for so long!!!!!! I am just amazed that something as basic as this was fooked up. AND left unchanged for so long.

I hope I am getting the wrong end of the stick here but it just seems ridiculously incompetent to not have your training pitches match your home pitch.
Why does it matter that much if the academy pitch is a different size ? They very rarely play at FP.
And would it really matter much for the first team either ? They play away from home just as often at as FP. and the skills they should be developing surely include judging the length of the cross or pass required from the position they are standing in not to be able to only do it successfully on one size of pitch.
Yes, with that logic, let's have the 1st team play on a circular pitch Stop burying your head in the sand Deep. I know you like making excuses on behalf of the club but they are laughable sometimes.
Yes it matters that the pitch is the same size ffs. I'm not going to bother explaining why the distance between the touchline and the goal is relevant to the game etc. We used to enjoy having a pyramid in the goalmouth as it caused visiting teams all sorts of problems adapting.
I agree that it is a positive that its finally being addressed and I should be more excited (I'm a miserable coont these days). But it is very frustrating when basic mistakes keep coming out of the woodwork.
