I saw quite a few players playing it 'safe' yesterday. If the players can be a,little braver and the fans a little more patient, we can get back to where we were, performance-wise.
Yes, too much sideways and backward passing, too little willing to take on defenders. It was a joy to see a player like Lowery enter the fray and bring more composure to the side. His first touch is excellent, he has great awareness and he always does something progressive with the ball. Reminds me of Ben Thompson in many ways.
