It was entirely in order to pass back to Shockers. The ball was weighted for Shaughnessy and it was a poor error of judgement by him to think it would get anywhere near Norris. As a defender, you don’t take any chances. That’s something Raggett learnt against Marquis.
100% Shockers fault.
Ha,Ha, Ha so these are the facts you see from watching the ball folliowing camera on ifollow.
You wern't there - you didn't see Pack acknowledge giving Shockers a "hospital ball". You didn't hear the groans at Pack's backward pass from an attacking position, you didn't hear the shouts he got from some of the crowd for putting Shockers & Norris in that position.
Just be thankful that it wasn't next year when we are in the Championship because we would have been punished by a better forward & it would have been Pack's fault 100%.
Well I was there and it was definitely Shockers fault, as I’m sure he would acknowledge.
Pack passing the ball back is a different conversation and, as has been said, a ‘hospital pass’ is a pass that puts the recipient of the pass in danger of serious injury, Pack’s pass obviously didn’t do that.
