Seems an insane appointment.
The very opposite of the way Mouse was appointed. Big name, big contacts, caching.

Wot's that last bit, Hammie? Caching? Or Ker-ching?
And I'm not sure about those contacts. Are we talking highly-sexed, pasty-eating grannies?

It smacks of a last-chance option for him, who should things go awry will quite possibly be the end of a fledgling managerial Career, a big risk taken by the pasty munchers I think.

Only two relegation places left to fill then.

They will need extra wide seats in the dugouts for Rooney. He’s not in good shape.
Doesn't look well does he? What on earth has been been doing to look like he's pushing 60? Coont is 38!

Blimey. Wonder what he'll look like after a few weeks of Ginsters and Devon Cream Teas.

Who in their right mind would give him the job?

They'd be better off with Derek Adams!

Just looking through Plymouths squad, and it's much better than ours. It's not even close.
They struggled hugely last season, and only stayed up on the last day. Plymouth are a much smaller club than Pompey, but they definitely have a much better squad. That is worrying.
