If I do happen to go in to Sainsburys I use the Nectar Card Duffers - then convert them to British Airways Executive Club Miles . I use the Smart Shop scanner there as well, brilliant bit of kit, saves you waiting at the checkout.

I got a negative on a LFT test on the Friday & got a positive LFT 2 days later. I took a 10th day PCR Test QA sent me today as I have been on their "Virtual Ward" - so hopefully negative tomorrow, although still feeling bunged up.

Hope you had a Merry Christmas & Best Wishes for a Happy New Year, if you do have the Covid yfc ;-)

Guff's the one Wink - starts out saying he's only in there for the cheese, then it turns it out he knows all the stuff only the regulars would know - the checkouts are faster, etc - you're not going to figure that out after just a couple of cheese visits. He's probaby got a loyalty card and everything. Probably even uses those handheld, pay-as-you-go till things.

Stop trying to dig your way out of it Tuffers.

I buy a lot of cheese and sometimes meat, which is pretty good. How many visits does it fucking take to work out that the self service checkouts are faster than the ordinary ones ffs  Smile .

I don’t have a MyWaitrose card like you regulars  Big Grin .

"I don’t have a MyWaitrose card like you regulars"

Me neither, lost all my faith in loyalty cards when BA took away all my points because I hadn't used them in some (unspecified) time - had enough to get me to Hong Kong.

Just done watching Trading Places. "it was the Dukes, it was the Dukes"

Trading Places is a great throw away Christmas film. Watched 'Deck the Halls' the other day, that's another one

Waitrose me up , also Aldi/ Lidl . Asda ( hyper market) in Havant is great if you’re feeling shit about yourself, 5 mins in there and feel a whole lot better about yourself.

You want to try Morrisons on the Holloway Road, it’s like that cafe scene in StarWars - the weirdo ratio is high, or if you’re in the mood for some tragic, way-over-ambitious shoplifting-watching, Sainsburys in Camden - yeah, no-ones going to see me slip past the tills with a builders bag of Glen’s…. Oh.

Don’t like Asda. Not their fault I know but I made a donation to the Sally Army just before Xmas and was stupid enough to give my card details over the phone thinking - Sally Army, God’ll be watching me and think I’m a good boy etc and look after all of us Pompey fans in 2022. It was the first time I’d given my card details over the phone for ages so imagine my surprise when I checked later that day to see if the donation had gone through and discovered my card had been used to pay a £273 Asda online shopping bill and another for about £150 at JD Sports had been declined. Told the Sally Army they needed to check their systems. Who’d a thunked it?

Which is fair enough. I've always enjoyed giving the old trombone a rub.
