An interesting watch over three episodes on the bbc I player. Whatever your political leaning or how you voted in the referendum, it’s an eye opener.

I don’t use iPlayer, I wouldn’t pay the BBC a red cent.

If it says the EU is in a right 2 and 8 it’s right though  Smile .

Morning ‘Brian’, go ahead and list these “disgusting attempts” of the EU if you’re so convinced of them. From where I’m sitting, it was your vote in the 2016 Ref that has lead to the possible disintegration of the UK.

Its pretty clear, 'Brian'. What does need explaining though is these “disgusting attempts” - what are these?

I'll preface this by saying that, obviously, every country is trying to gain an advantage for itself over its competitors and allies. What hurts us benefits France, Ireland, Russia, North Korea, etc..., and vice versa. Trading agreements that align mutual interests means we get benefits like raised standards, and environmental, consumer and employee protections.

The Good Friday Agreement is based on the premise of an open border, however on leaving the EU we closed the border. Therefore, we have created a contradiction and no amount of bluster will alter the fact that something that was hard fought for - peace in Ireland - is at risk. The EU did not create this contradiction and to say their aim is the break up of the UK is Brexiteer blame shifting of the highest order. Brexiteers, your decision led to this.

I see the latest proposed trade agreement with India involves relaxing our immigration policy to allow more Indians entry to the UK. Not entirely sure the brexiteers had this in mind.

Balti me up!!

Are you assuming that the Indians will only be coming to work in Indian restaurants then?

Bit fecking racist isn’t it?  Big Grin

Well I voted for Brexit and have no objection to legal immigration whatsoever.

You also voted for a greater number of channel crossings - up 300% since we left the EU!

An independent Scotland and Liverpool Big Grin sounds like an incredible tax rebate for English taxpayers. As for us getting more Indians, fair play, never met a bad one.

That ain't nothing compared to the tax rebate us in the new independent London are going to get.

Yep!! Duty Free on the Gosport ferry never happened, due to some silly voting, but Wightlink should look into it
