There is some kind of communications facility on Portsdown Hill; that might be a possible target once the major nodes had been cut, but I wonder if there would be any others hereabouts?

Those of you who are particularly morbid can explore this simulator.

All the Russians have to do is bomb the oil terminals and sit back and wait. Within a week, the general public will be at each others throats and there would be anarchy. In fact, they don't even have to bomb us. Just send a couple of facebook posts saying there's bound to be shortages and that should do the trick.

Already a queue in Sainsbury's Farlington tonight of people looking for petrol. Seems they can't tell the difference between petrol going up and petrol running out...

No point hitting the dockyard either coz our navy is 2 aircraft carriers (without helicopters) and a couple of icebreakers....

Spot on. Actually just jamming their wi-fi connection should be enough.

The leaders of the British Armed Forces have asked Boris not to commit any British troops to Ukraine because they haven't all completed their Diversity and Inclusion training. The stumbling block is the fact that they are not sure what name to call the Soviets without offending them. The most obvious name of "Ruskies"  has been deemed as "hate speech" so won't be used. A spokesperson said that even though the British Government has condemned Putin's actions in the strongest terms we must stress upon the Russian army to respect our inclusive and diverse soldiers, and just to show how fair and just we are, in the event of hostilities, any soldier who "identifies" as gender neutral would be sent into battle first. He also denied reports that the more "sensitive" members of our armed forces would only go into combat if the Russians could prove they were fully vaccinated and provide a negative Covid test.

They were most likely on a state of heightened alert before the Ukrainian operation was launched.

Whilst he’s worrying about Ukraine, NATO should go in and take the fcker out.

A team going in would be the most dramatic but what ever is quickest and most effective.
