He is clearly totally out of touch with the effects worldwide rising prices across all sectors are having on "Mr & Mrs Average & Family" - started off well in the job, but has slid back into the usual mid term any party "Chancellor of the Exchequer theme".

In general this is hit the  general population hard in the middle of the election term & then give them a few crumbs to try to win the next election - sorry you are out of luck this time

Apparently when the whole PartyGate was at its peak, he was sending out emails to all backbench mp's with the message 'hey, if you have an idea, let's chat' followed by his lifestyle-brand signature, Rishi. Thinking that his smoothy-chops millionaire schtick was going to impress the minions was a big mistake.

Far be it for me to defend a tory, but he is not on his own. He has a huge team behind him forming the budget.
