When I heard this it made me sad and then very angry but I suppose you just have to laugh otherwise you'd cry.

What he actually said was that they conceded so many goals because they were more emotional. A very different statement to the selected part of it that you quoted. I expect most professional women players would take issue with the whole quote even if they agreed with the second half of it.

Most likely conceded so many goals 'cos they were rubbish and THEN became emotional.

Her Diary entry - Saturday
Saw him in the evening and he was acting really strangely. I'd been shopping in the afternoon with the girls and was a bit late meeting him, thought it might be that. The bar was really crowded and loud, so I suggested we go somewhere quieter to talk. He was still very subdued and distracted so I suggested we went somewhere nice to eat. All through dinner he just didn't seem himself - he hardly laughed and didn't seem to be paying any attention to me or to what I was saying, I just knew that something was wrong. He dropped me back home and I wondered if he was going to come in, he hesitated but followed. I asked him what was wrong, but he just half shook his head and turned the television on. After about ten minutes of silence I said that I was going upstairs to bed, I put my arms around him and told him that I loved him deeply, He just gave a sigh and a sad sort of smile. He didn't follow me up immediately but came up later and, to my surprise, we made love - but he still seemed distant and a bit cold. I cried myself to sleep - I think he's planning to leave me - maybe he's found someone else.... His Diary Entry- Saturday United lost, gutted. Got a shag though!

If he had just said women are more emotional than men then there is hardly a man or woman on the planet that would disagree, he would just be stating the bleeding obvious. But to suggest professional sportswomen conceded more goals because they are emotional because they are women is a bit insulting - surely even you can see that. Especially when it was really caused by his poor coaching. If it had been a men's side he would likely have said they were not mentally strong enough after conceding (as Cowley has indeed said about PFC earlier this season), but he wouldn't say they were not mentally strong enough because of their gender.

It’s woke bollox.
First rule when dealing with woke bollox, NEVER apologise. It is never enough for the woke ‘oo isn’t it all terrible’ brigade, so why bother? Ignore the tossers, it’s the only way.

One has to ask that if he thinks letting goals in is a female emotional weakness rather then the result of how he has coached them he might be better looking for another job other than manager of a women's international team because he clearly thinks no amount of coaching will change this inherent weakness in their defending. Now, if he had been made to apologise for just saying women are more emotional than men then that would be woke nonsense. Which is why the anti-woke brigade have pounced on this by only quoting half his statement so they can be outraged at him having to apologise.

Deep, he made a comment that a upset a few woke bbc types ( fuck em anyway), NI ladies agreed with his comments and backed him so it doesn’t matter one iota what anyone else thinks.
Opinions are like arseholes, every fecker has one.

He apologised to the squinnying Twatter shower who are always scouring the planet for some new trivia to be outraged by. If you think that was an ‘insult’ you really need to get out more by the way.

Calling them Professional Sportswomen is being a little over generous
In the men's game only 0.001% make it out of nearly the entire male population In the Women's game only 0.001% bother to turn up for the trials

It annoys me that the main sports channels..Sky etc give the women's game the same level of importance as the mens. You even get score updates from the WPL or whatever it's called. It's light years away from the standard of mens football. It's woke bs to get everyone "included". FFS!

I've no problem with the women's game getting air time and publicity - it is a sport fast growing in popularity and it is great that so many girls want to play and that women can make a decent living from playing it. If that is woke then it is good woke. What I object to is women players getting to be pundits on the men's game - they are two totally different sports at totally different levels and being good at womens football does not qualify you to comment with any expertise on mens football. By all means comment as fans, or even commentators (though I havent heard a good one yet) but not as experts. And vice versa for men on the womens game.

We are getting to the stage now where women want everything...they want to be women and they want to be men.
Viva la difference I'll get me coat

Jiz, that’s not ‘woke’ (whatever you think that means) it’s called growing an audience. If Sky thinks it has this huge previously untapped mass of potential viewers they’re going to do all they can to go get them. Why the snowflakery?
