Half the town wanted to be Terry, without realising that half the town was Arther Daley! RIP.
I met him a couple of times in the 80s, once through some work, another in a pub in Wooburn Common where he lived. Very down to earth bloke, chatty and friendly. Really sad he's gone.

He admitted it. Go ahead and paint him as a total diamond geezer if you want, but there’s no getting away from the fact. What’s wrong with accepting the full person, good and bad.

Dennis Waterman beat his wife, that is a fact, he also appeared in a few tv series which were popular - which is the most important aspect of those two statements?

Calm down ‘Brian’, I don’t think this place is as popular as you think it is - I doubt any of Dennis’ family have seen it. But useful to know that you think punching women is acceptable.

I dont see anyone saying that @ all, you seem to be making a dubious comparison with Saville who never showed any remorse for his crimes. Waterman said he was deeply ashamed of hitting Rula Lenska.
