He can play anywhere across the front 3 but has played mainly on the right , so maybe be a replacement for Harness. It’ll be interesting to see if Curtis will still be here by the end of the month.

Another loan! Looks like DC was also looking at Harry McKirdy from Swindon as well but very unlikely as he'd Not fit into DC's playing formation. Also would need to pay a transfer fee.

Cowley et Al are playing a dangerous game by not replacing key positions with players we own.

I’m of the opinion by doing this he is creating healthy competition in the squad and if we were to go up Point one: Nobody would be complaining if we went up with loan players Point two: We would be probably be in a good position to sign any high performing loanee’s on a permanent contract if we go up Point three: One of our wingers that looked good pre season is very injury prone so we do need cover in that area (Jayden Reid’s his name and I wish him all the best) anyway that’s my two cents worth

I’d value that at at least three cents worth!

An interesting loan. Not really been given a chance at Blackpool but did really well in a crewe side in league 1
Could be great if he can rediscover his league 1 form. Does he have pace?

Looked pretty good, quick, industrious and a good finisher. May do well down here if we get it over the line.

We were interested in him when he left Crewe but Blackpool got him.
No problem with it being a loan especially as he is likely to be available for free when his contract expires.

I’m happy with the loans this season as there seems to be a chance of purchase ( possible exception - Griffiths). Dale and Pigott weren’t getting games at their parent clubs so it makes sense . The Scarlett has potential and is out of our price range. The only loan that may cause me concern is Griffiths , I don’t know enough or seen enough of him to pass judgement.
We have purchased Pack, Rafferty, Swanson, Bishop, Morrison and Oluwayemi. Pretty good business IMO, plus the option to buy Pigott. So other than Griffiths, Pigott, and Scarlett as the only loans so far. I think we’re in a lot better shape with our own contracted players than last season.

Did anyone else notice that the first three names mentioned for scoring in Saturday's highlights were all on loan.
Sadly devaluing the league and making us all Prem/Champ B teams.

Doesn’t look like the deal for Dale was completed before todays 12 noon deadline for inclusion in tomorrow’s squad.
Appy playing games again???

Isn't his missus due to give birth today.
Hard decision for him

There’s nothing sinister about it , it’s delayed for family reasons.

Well he’s signed on loan. It’s official now

I think we can safely say that this window has been the best in a long time, and with the quality of players we've recruited anything less than top 6 is a failure. I was concerned yesterday with our lack of guile and tempo and wondered if it was to do with Cowley's set up of the team. It's up to him now to get the best out of the squad, I hope he lets them off the leash because I think there are plenty of goals in the side. Just stop being defensive.
