Value is purely a reflection of supply and demand. If Blackburn want to get rid of him and a number of clubs are interested, the price will be negotiated up.

Then there’s the small matter that some of the clubs will be from a higher level and be offering higher wages.

I’d be amazed if we got him but would also be delighted of course.
