Doing a great expose on Talk radio right now. Expanding on the story he fed to the Sunday Mail re Albania a
member of Nato and about to join the EU.

He has the facts I know someone won't like them.

What the EU choose to do is no longer our business. If we were still members, we’d have the veto on their membership (just as we always had regarding Turkey). Funny that.

But how realistic a prospect would it have been for any of the existing EU states to veto the membership of a candidate nation once it had gone through the accession process?

Any member country is able to veto any prospective entrant - the accession process wouldn’t even begin if it was known that a veto was likely.

I'm tempted to reply in the style of your hero i.e. "google the facts are out there" etc but i will give you some food for thought.

Currently 4 out of ten people arriving illegally on our coast are single male Albanians. All Albanians can quite legally obtain visas and work permits to enter and live in the UK. There has been no war in Albania for 25 years. So why are they risking their lives crossing the channel to come here illegally?

I see your hero has tried to side track the major issues above but this is a major issue involving drugs, mafia, money laundering, trafficking and corruption at the highest levels.

Some simple research will open eyes, you could start with Richard Tices web site.

Ha ha ha. Nice one ‘Brian’.

If as you say 4 out 10 people arriving by small boats are Albanian (which I don’t believe for a moment) and Albania is not at war, and I think we can fairly assume that they’re not all political dissidents or gay; and also that the Daily Mail and their accomplices believe the coastguard and Royal Navy are providing a taxi service bringing them all in; how is it that 61% of all asylum seekers have their claim approved. And of the remaining 49%, 59% are successful in appeal. As you say, this is just simple research.

How does that square with Tice’s assertions/prejudice?

Seems to me Albanians are the new constructed bogeyman.

Oh ‘Brian’, you’ve become LittlerMix. If you act now, you just might be able to save yourself.

I mean for fucks sake, what is happening to this country? We find ourselves in the midst of a rightwing zombie apocalypse. What happened to critical thinking? No attributable sources for the ‘report’ yet the whole piece depends on it. Nice how they manage to get China in there too - total coincidence that Truss, who they’re publicly backing for PM, has chosen to look tough against.

And then this:
That Daily Mail piece mentions a bloke by the name of Muhamed Veliu, “a political correspondent with Top Channel TV in Albania.“ but what it doesn’t say is that Mr Muhamed Veliu also works for the Daily Express (see Carter Ruck defamation case), so it’s more than possible, and probably probable, that he’s just making it up. Do you see how this works yet? It’s a tag team, Mick McManus & Giant Haystacks, one tells the lie and the other reports the lie as a truth told.

I didn’t have a clue who Veliu was until five minutes ago. If you’re hellbent on quoting bollocks just because it fits your mindset at least do some fucking research. It’s an open secret that the decaying and life-departing conservative membership was resuscitated by UKIP entryists propping up the numbers. Now they’re calling the shots, I predict Richard Tice to have some kind of cabinet presence.

So as usual you go of at a tangent to suit your agenda but ignore simple facts.

Why are Albanians who can legally come here and reside and work risking there lives to cross the channel in flimsily rubber boats?

It's a simple question even a genius like you should be able to answer?

I guarantee you won't.

How is it that 61% have their claim approved? Simple answer, they don’t.

Due to the farcical system we employ, they get an initial decision that they can appeal, then they can have a judicial review (judging by the state of our judiciary that is loaded in their favour of course). All this at the poor old taxpayers expense.

Anyway, despite that, 32% are initially successful and 46% on appeal.

So, far too many but not anywhere near Tufnell’s fanciful figures.

The real scandal is that we don’t stop them entering illegally and we don’t chuck out the failures.

This is because the Home Office, judiciary and general Civil ‘Service’ are largely staffed by people like Tufnell.

We need a clear out imo.

You'll be happy to show your workings and yours source material then won't you Guff, I took mine from Fullfact. Lets see yours.

"The real scandal is that we don’t stop them entering illegally and we don’t chuck out the failures." That'll be because the no-deal Brexit we negotiated did not include the Dublin Agreement - the EU now have no obligation to take anyone back - and if the roles were reversed you'd applaud that. But this is what you willingly voted for so I guess we're stuck with it.

How is it that in ToryWorld, everyone else is the problem and everything else needs to change in order for ToryWorld to truly flourish?

Actually ‘Brian’ I did answer your question. Richard Tice is lying, and the ‘story’ is bollocks, it’s a dead cat to deflect from the shit we’re in. If it is true you’ll have no problem finding an official source to back it up.

I’ll wait..

You really need to grow up,  did you look at the two hour show on sunday including many documents from our own government?

As usual you are shooting the messenger, keyboard warrior style that you would never dare to do in public.

I will waste no more time on a clown like you or your oh so predictable replies, have a very unhappy brexit [Image: biggrin.png]

This would be the same Full ‘Fact’ that is largely funded by Facebook and Google then.

The same Full ‘Fact’ staffed by former journalists from the BBC and the left wing press.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Did I spend two hours of a lovely warm Sunday afternoon watching to Putin's posh boy on GBeebies? What do you think. You obviously know your place 'Brian' and you think its a few rungs down from Tice - he's just a product of a posh public school. Family money, no great brain - his first job was working for his grandad, and he spent 14 years there. I'm not shooting the messenger - I'm calling out the messenger for putting out garbage that he knows lands well with you Brexity-types.

And Guff, if you think differently put up your evidence - if Tice says its true, he must have some cast iron evidence - so use that. So far your track record of substantiating your point of view is non-existent, so not holding out much hope. Your usual bollocks is not enough.

Anyhows, I've got the day off today so ta-ra.
