Anyone care about the result? Would be good for some of those spoilt Premiership fans to experience first hand what a shithole Kenilworth Rd is. Anyway, it ain’t over yet…

I'm just miffed that both teams were in League Two back in 2017 and are now challenging for the Prem. That's football for you.

I wouldn't begrudge either sets of fans some time in the top league, as long as they don't mind being ripped off and having kick offs moves all over the place

I’m certainly not miffed, it clearly emphasises to the Eisners what can be achieved so all good.

I love it! The team who had their manager stolen by Scum, will now replace them in the PL.
I is very farking happy!

That day they beat us and took top spot, away from home. Bitter.

What are they thinking??? They went into administration! Surely every one of their fans enjoying an amazing day at Wembley must have been praying they could get back to league 1 and never risk going bust again like most on this board.

My wife is a Watford fan. They sacked Rob Edwards after 11 games. How poetic that he's managed their hated rivals to promotion.

Promotion to the Premier is worth £170M I heard earlier today.

Hopefully Richard Hughes saw a lot of rob Edwards in mousinho

170 million?
Does the average club make anything out of that at all? Or do the players and their agents take it all and more to spare? It should be a gold mine of course, but with the likes of Man City allowed to run with huge losses subsidised by the most dodgy of owners, while using all sorts of accountancy tricks to pretend they don't, its a very poisoned chalice.

Luton have got there through smart recruitment. Richard Hughes Im was one of the highest regarded DOF’s in the efl so hopefully that’s the first step. I’m more confident this summer than the last few summers.

I am frustrated and pissed off that we are still on League 1 but I have to give credit where it is due to the owners, it isn't like they are repeatedly doing the same stupid shit. They've got Hughes in now.

But next season we supposedly have a larger playing budget. Just hope it's enough to get us promoted at last. If we doesn't we will need to look for new owners.

Luton have average attendances of 8,900 (bottom of the championship) that obviously cant completely fund championship level wages even with kids. Plus, they're attempting to build a new stadium so ofcourse they must have huge debts. The gamble has paid off though and Luton will join the likes of Bradford, Ipswich, Charlton, Derby, Bolton, Swindon and others with a souvenir (in this case a new ground) of their time spent as PL cannon fodder. Makes me laugh when they say a club will get £170 million coz you know they're going to spend more than that just to stay in the fecker!

Plymouth could conceivably do a ‘Luton’ next. I bloddy hope not though.
