Next week. £29 each. 1250 tickets.
Cheeky bastards!
Orient are charging £29 for general tickets also....
Well that's one of the London games out for me.
Incidentally, orient are charging their next opponents, Cambridge United, £24 for pleasure of visiting them.
If pompey had the nerve, which they probably won't, they should charge the same for them in January. Unless their tickets include the services of one of those masseurs that work in one of Cosham's err highly respected massage parlours....
Bit weird replying to myself but there you go.
Incidentally, Cambridge have sold out their allocation for their game with Leyton Orient. So the latter will have the same stewarding costs etc as for our game. The distance between Cambridge and Orient's ground is about 52 miles. The distance between Orient and Fratton Park is around 109 miles.
Why isn't anyone as annoyed as I am about this? Why are we charging just £25 for Bristol Rovers to try out our new Disneyland turnstiles??
You are aware that we can only charge Bristol Rovers the same as we charge home supporters? Why shït on any non-season ticket Pompey fans wanting to attend?
Leyton Orient obviously have a category system based on how attractive the opposition is. We along with Charlton, Derby and Bolton are more of a draw to put bums on home seats than Cambridge Utd are. We don’t employ such a system as there isn’t another team in the division that would put any more bums on home seats at Fratton Park. Personally, I’m glad we’re too classy to go tit for tat on ticket prices with smaller clubs.
